Best Places to Visit in Chattanooga, Tennessee

There are several things to see and do while in Chattanooga, Tennessee. If you are an outdoor lover, you can visit Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain, and the Chickamauga Battlefield Museum. You can also visit the Tennessee Aquarium. All of these places are great for family outings, so make sure to make time to explore all of them!

Lookout Mountain

If you want to see some great views of the city, Lookout Mountain is the place for you. This mountain is home to a railroad that travels up and down the mountain at a 72.7% grade. While you’re up there, check out the upper station with its deli and gift shop. The lower station has an observation deck and a large collection of machinery, including a 100-horsepower winch.
