Sand Creek Park

The 100-acre Sand Creek Park is home to numerous recreation opportunities, including hiking and horseback riding trails. The trail system, which runs through the park, crosses a number of creeks and includes numerous ponds and cottonwood trees. The park also features 18 limestone parking pads, grills and hitching racks for motorized vehicles.

The park has a large parking lot and loop paths that follow Sand Creek. You can easily access the greenway and its amenities through directional signs. However, there are no bathrooms or water. Sand Creek Golf Course

Sand Creek Golf Course is one of the most popular courses in Eastern Idaho. It is an 18-hole championship golf facility with a driving range and six-hole Par 3 short course. The course is easily walkable and has generous fairways and greens. There is also a driving range for those who want to practice their swings.

The course is located southeast of Idaho Falls. It is relatively flat and has no bunkers. The course is free of residential development. It features a large pond on the back nine and interesting hole shapes. The course is not overly difficult to walk, so it’s a good choice for families and junior golfers.
